FQS WorkshopsForensic Relationship Testing Workshop FQS will be offering a “Forensic Relationship Testing Workshop.” This statistics workshop coves relationship/paternity testing, calculations, mixture interpretation, unusual case studies, Hardy Weinberg, linkage equilibrium and MORE! "ISO Without Tears" WorkshopsIn response to many requests, Forensic Quality Services (FQS) is pleased to present a workshop which deals with aspects of ISO accreditation. The “ISO Without Tears” workshop sessions will be held at the FQS offices in Clearwater, Florida, and are presented as an alternative to our customizable workshops that can be provided to individual agencies in their own laboratories. The general 3 day workshop will provide a basic understanding of ISO 17025, technical requirements, forensic testing aspects, internal auditing, implementation, corrective action, preparation and management. The workshops are based on FQS's experiences of training and accrediting laboratories to the ISO 17025 standard. FQS has been in operation for nearly 10 years and the FQS-I business unit has accredited more that 50 agencies.

17025:2005: It is strongly recommended that you have a copy of
the Standard. A copy will be available for each attendee’s
use during the workshop; however, it cannot be retained by the
attendee. (All state and local public crime laboratories received
a free copy of the standard. It is also available for purchase
through the ANSI “eStandards Store” at www.ansi.org.) To

and fax or mail to Pat Bencivenga (pab@forquality.org), Internal Auditing Workshop (3 Day) This workshop is offered at your facility and provides an understanding of auditing and ISO 17025 forensic requirements for accreditation. An audit is designed to explore opportunities for improvement and is not an exercise in blame. Participants will explore different types of audits, develop an audit plan, and collect data. Additional topics covered include reporting, corrective actions, exploring clauses, ILAC Guide 19, and the exit meeting.
